..The Palm Leaves Based Phra Somdej of Wat Rakhang
How to identify Phra Somdej Pilandra
  1. The amulet is created by Somdej Phra Buddhajarn (Dhud), his common named is Phra-Buddha-Baht-Pilandra and he is the abbot of Wat Rakhang in the year B.E.2418 and thereafter.
  2. The amulet has two types, encased and non-encased.
    The encased amulet is lined with plaster in layer. Some amulets, the plaster are worn down in layer by layer.
    The non-encased amulet, the plaster is rarely catched up the amulet's body but if it does has, it may plaster in dotted, here and there.
  3. Physical characters : The amulet is powder based of burnt palm leaves in green-cum-black colour mixed with holy materials and small pieces of white holy elements.
