Ang Muangchon (Somphob Thaidheerasatien) |
|
| .....Born on 16 November 1957 at Amphur
Banbung in Chonburi province. He had got into amulet exchanges business since 1972. .....The First Amulet that had brought him in and built up his faith on it was Phra Chowkhun Nor's coin. The coin had given him an experience of miracle-performing power. When he was at 15 years old, he had got an accident; a 6 wheels-truck ran over his motorcycle which was totally destroyed in a state of unusable anymore. Amazingly, he had escaped unscratched. He had believed that it was the power of the amulet that saved his life from dead. .....In the year 1975, he bought a statue of a Deva of Hindu god from a Cambodian. One day, later on, he had an experience with a divine might of the Deva; the god had sent forth its ray to him. That experience had driven him to believe in the miraculous power of the amulets. He had set forth to study the amulets in dept. .....His expertise on the amulets had been well respected, he was invited to sit in a panel of judges to render a decision on Phra Pid-ta set in 1977. ..... |

Until today, he still sits in as one of a judge of Phra Benjapakee. .....On the rough road to become a wiz-kid on amulets and receive a designated name as "Ang MuangChon" he had to work hard to gain his mastery in art of the amulet through practising, studying, observing and registering on all aspects of the art of amulets. He had seen innumerable amulets both real and immitate. Such experiences had given considerable expertise on antique amulets. Plus he had been advised by respected grand oldmen; Khun Pisal Mulasartsathorn, Khun Udom kavasaraporn, Khun Prajam U-arun and many others. .....He had accumulated experiences on the art of amulets for more than 20 years, and then in 1993, Khun Kampol Kanjanakueakul had invited him to jointly open an amulets shop at Bang-Lumpoo area.
